Mas’ha is right on the border of Israel and the West Bank of Palestine. It was once
home to the busiest of Israeli-Palestinian markets, a symbol of co-existence. The
market closed down with the construction of the wall. Mas’ha has a population of 2,000
residents with 75% of residents under the age of 21. It is also the home of our co-
organizer Mujahid Sarsur. The people of Mas’ha and the Village Council greatly support
our initiative and have welcomed Bard students warmly and openly.
